Screw Terminal

Steps

Power down the VTAC unit

Loosen the VTAC's V+, D+, D-, and V- terminals

Connect one end of the Anacove Digital Wiring Harness into the black port on the Anacove HVAC Controller Gateway and the other end into the black port on the Anacove Smart Serial Adapter

Connect the pin-header end of the Anacove Screw Terminal Wiring Harness into the white port on the Smart Serial Adapter

Wire the Screw Terminal Wiring Harness into VTAC as described in the below coloring guide

Mount the HVAC Controller Gateway as close as possible somewhere between the air inlet of the cabinet door and the return air supply on the VTAC

Power the VTAC unit back on

There are three lights that should be checked to verify everything is connected and working as expected:

1. You should see a green light on the HVAC Controller Gateway just to the left of the black port
2. You should see a solid red light on the Smart Serial Adapter through one of the two small holes on the top of the adapter
3. You should see a blinking blue light on the Smart Serial Adapter through one of the two small holes on the top of the adapter
