VHAxxxxxRTQ-x with AUX Series Remote Thermostat Enable:

Steps

1

There are no configuration settings to be made as the VTAC is always in remote thermostat mode

AUX Connection

There are two wire connections that need to be made in order to control the AUX device from the Anacove HVAC Controller Gateway

1. If the wire or terminal coming from the AUX device is labeled as 24VAC then the orange wire from the Screw Terminal Wiring Harness should be connected to that wire. If the wire or terminal is not labeled then the orange wire can connect to either available wire

2. If the wire or terminal coming from the AUX device is labeled as Common then the black wire from the Screw Terminal Wiring Harness should be connected to that wire as well as the common terminal on the VTAC unit. If the wire or terminal is not labeled then the black wire can connect to either available wire as well as the common terminal on the VTAC unit
