Cloudbeds Integration

Signing up for Anacove Energy Management Service

To enhance your Cloudbeds account with the Energy Management Service, simply follow either step 1 or step 2:

  1. Sign up for an account with Anacove
    • To set up your Energy Management service, please email Sales@anacove.com
    • Available M-F, 9am to 5pm
    • Average response time is by the next business day
  2. Inform your Anacove Sales contact that you will be integrating Cloudbeds.

Connecting Anacove Energy Management service with Cloudbeds integration for the first time

Add the Anacove Energy Management application to your account from the CloudBeds Marketplace page:

  • Search on the Anacove application
  • Click the "CONNECT APP" button 

Authorize the application:

  • Select the property you would like to connect to the app
  • Click "Continue"

Approve access to the shared data for the integration by clicking "Allow Access"

  • Data shared with Anacove:
    • Read access to reservation information
    • Read access to room information
    • Read access to hotel information
    • No guest data is shared

Specific functionality of the integration:

When a guest arrives and checks into their room, our Energy Management service will be immediately notified. If the guest room thermostat is enabled, it will automatically adjust to the perfect default temperature.

Similarly, when a guest checks out, the thermostat will be set to OFF, ensuring energy efficiency. From that point on, the room will be managed according to the Vacant settings. Your hotel staff can still utilize the thermostat in this mode, but any changes they make will only be active for a duration of 30 minutes.

Limitations of the integration:

Ensuring a seamless guest experience is our top priority. When a guest is relocated from their original room, it is crucial that the previous room is promptly marked as vacant and the new room is swiftly rented out. In the rare instance that a guest remains in an unoccupied room, please note that the thermostat will automatically shut off after 30 minutes. Rest assured, our team is committed to providing optimal comfort for all guests.

Disconnecting the application:

To disconnect the Anacove Energy Management service from your Cloudbeds account:
  • In the Anacove Client Portal delete the PMS Site Name from the Site Details of the correct Site Details
  • Or contact the Anacove Customer Support at 1-858-201 3323 or support@anacove.com

To disconnect the Cloudbeds account from the Anacove Energy Management service:

  • Please click here to disconnect

Group Accounts:

Attention: Group Accounts Not Supported

Please note that the Anacove Energy Management service does not currently offer support for group accounts. Therefore, each property within a group will need to be added individually to our system. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that our team is working diligently to provide a seamless experience for all our valued customers.
